Before registering, each team/individual must comply with their annual conference's Safe Sanctuary Policy. Team Leaders should check with their Conference UMVIM Coordinator for specific policies, requirements or expectations related to Safe Sanctuary/Child Protection Policies, background checks and insurance prior to registration on the UMVIM, SEJ site. If you have any questions, please contact your Conference Coordinator or our office.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

• If traveling internationally, the processing fee is $17/person. There is no fee for registration only. 

• Please note, those of age 80+ can only receive $20,000 worth of coverage maximum and their cost will be $3.00/day.

Mission Sports Insurance
$25,000 coverage – $2.75/member per day         $50,000 – $3.00/member per day         $100,000 – $3.35/member per day 

Covid Coverage Insurance
Those with team members all under the age of 75
$10,000 coverage - $2.25/member per day
$25,000 coverage - $2.50/member per day
$50,000 coverage - $2.75/member per day

For those with team members 75+
$1,000,000 coverage (0-69 years of age)
$100,000 coverage (70-79 years of age)
$20,000 coverage (80+)
$3.50/member per day

*There is no sports coverage with the covid coverage, if you would like sports coverage, please contact our office at sej@umvim.org.     

Please complete this process no later than 2 weeks before departure so you will not incur a $3 per member late fee. 

Cancellation Policy: UMVIM, SEJ will only reimburse the insurance cost for any team member cancellations not the processing fees.

HOW DO I MAKE A PAYMENT?

If paying by check, mail a check payable to UMVIM, SEJ and mail to P.O Box 276, Birmingham, AL  35201.  Please include the team leader’s name on the memo line and include a copy of your invoice with the payment.

WHAT IS MISSION SPORTS INSURANCE?

The Mission Sports coverage is the same basic coverage as the standard plus the Hazard Sports -motorcycle/motor scooter riding (whether as a passenger or a driver), hang gliding, parachuting, bungee jumping, water skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and spelunking.  

HOW DO I GET THE INSURANCE ID CARDS?

The insurance company will email the following to the group leader:

• ID cards for all team members (includes 24/7 toll-free numbers for assistance) 

• IMG Certificate of Insurance (policy of coverage and exclusions)

• UMVIM Short-Term International Medical Checklist

• A weblink for electronic copies of your ID Cards
