In light of the Natural Disaster that struck Western Tennessee and Kentucky in the early hours of December 11th, the Kentucky Conference United Methodist Volunteers in Missions (UMVIM) will be holding three Team Leader trainings. These trainings are designed to equip people to plan, build and lead effective teams into areas that need help rebuilding lives and property.

There will be three dates and locations to choose from:
January 29th - Richmond First, Richmond from 9 – 12 Eastern Time
February 5th - Elizabethtown Memorial, Elizabethtown from 9 – 12 Eastern Time
February 12th – Saint James, Bowling Green from 9 – 12 Central Time
These trainings will be offered free of charge, but preregistration is required:
- Preregister through the Conference website (kyumc.org).
- You will receive a link to download the Team Leader Handbook upon registration.
- Handouts and study material will be provided at the training.
Once someone registers and receives their confirmation, they should go to www.umvim.org and instructed to go to the Resources Tab and told to choose “Team Leader Handbook” then download the free PDF copy. Before attending the training, they should have read and be prepared to discuss pages 5-50. Because we are doing this training in three hours instead of five, it is important that they pre-read this material.
