This is an in-person training hosted by the Mississippi Conference, but any attendees are welcome.

UMVIM Team Leader training is designed for first-time volunteer mission team leaders to explore the logistics of forming a team, finding a project, arranging travel, and much more.  The training will also explore the spiritual side of mission, cultural sensitivity, and theology of mission in a discussion-based group setting.  The training follows the UMVIM Team Leader Handbook and introduces helpful resources from UMVIM to make your mission journey a success. Anyone interested in learning more about UMVIM is encouraged to attend. Training will be led by Rev. Matt Lacey, Director of UMVIM SEJ, and Gray Miller, Associate Director/Disaster Response Liaison of UMVIM SEJ.
