Team insurance is strongly encouraged and required by some project sites. Team registration is automatic with the purchase of Insurance.
International Insurance
UMVIM WJ contracts with Mission Safe for an Accident and Medical Insurance Policy from IMG for teams serving internationally. There are $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000 coverage options.
Costs for International Teams serving outside the US:
$25,000: $2.25 per person per day.
$50,000: $2.50 per person per day.
$100,000: $2.75 per person per day.
Additionally, there is a $15/person administration fee for each team member on the International Team.
There is an addition cost for an Adventure Sports Rider if the following activities are planned for the purposes of recreation, an unusual experience or excitement. These activities are typically undertaken outdoors and involve a medium degree of risk (some examples might be: BMX; bobsledding; bungee jumping; canyoning; caving; hot air ballooning; jungle zip lining; parachuting; paragliding; parascending; rappelling; skydiving; spelunking; wildlife safaris; and windsurfing).
Costs for International teams adding the Adventure Sports Rider:
$25,000: $2.75 per person per day.
$50,000: $3.00 per person per day.
$100,000: $3.35 per person per day.
Additionally, there is a $15/person administration fee for each team member on the International Team.
Persons 80+ years of age are eligible for $20,0000 only coverage at a cost of $3.85/day.
Domestic Insurance
UMVIM WJ has also contracted with AIG for medical and accident insurance policy with $50,000 coverage for domestic team serving in the USA and US Territories.
Cost for Domestic Teams is $1.25 per person per day
The administrative fee is included in the daily fee.

Select Domestic or International and download the form/spreadsheet:
Fill in all required information as directed on form/spreadsheet.
Indicate the number of days you will on this journey, including the leaving day and the final day of travel.
For International insurance, choose the rate option. Note that some team members may vary depending on age and/or addition of the Adventure Sports Rider.
If some members of your team are traveling on different dates, submit a separate form/spreadsheet for each.
Once complete, submit this form/spreadsheet by emailing to umvimwj@gmail.com. Wait for confirmation of completion before making your payment.

Applications will not be processed until payment is made.

Special notes
Changes can be made up to one week prior to departure.
Changes for persons not traveling will be refunded the amount of the insurance only.
