This form is for adding a project, outside the USA, that receives short-term volunteer mission teams on a regular basis. If you are already on the UMVIM International Project list, you can also use this form to update your information.

Approved projects are promoted to mission teams, and will be listed at umvim.org/projects

There are several qualifications to note:

-The UMVIM project list is hosted by UMVIM, which is an agency of the United Methodist Church in the USA. All projects, regardless of denomination or religious affiliation, will need the approval of the Methodist Bishop or Head of Church in the area. We do this to honor local leadership and autonomy in our United Methodist Connectional System. Please note, you do not need to be a Methodist project, but you do need the blessing of the Methodist area leadership.

-You will need to submit a child protection/vulnerable person policy, sometimes referred to as a Safe Sanctuary Policy. If you have questions about this, contact sejinfo@umvim.org

-The application does take a while to complete, so take your time. You can also download a PDF version here if you would like.

-Not every project is right for this list, and that’s ok. We know our requirements might not fit everyone, but just because a project isn’t on the project list doesn’t mean it is a bad project.
