UMVIM exists to promote, encourage, and enable Christians to exemplify “Christian Love in Action” through short-term mission service at home and abroad.

Team Openings

  • September 9-17, 2017. Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church is sending a team to Quito, Ecuador with SIFAT. The team will be working on construction projects and conducting Vacation Bible School. Approximate cost is $2300. For more information, please contact cctaylor@umcsc.org.

  • July 22-29, 2017. Friends of Barnabas is looking for physical and occupational therapists, nurses, Early Childhood specialists or interventionists, and preschool teachers to join their Early Childhood Development and Intervention team that will serve in Honduras. The team will work in 5 remote mountain communities, teaching and working with children and their parents focusing on growth and development. Approximate cost is $1900.
