UMVIM, SEJ College Internships:
The summer of 2013, students from across the Southeastern United States can join us in our mission to transform the world.  The internship will be a 9 week program, in which a student will spend 2 weeks in our Birmingham, AL UMVIM, SEJ office, 3 weeks at an UMVIM, SEJ National Project,  3 weeks at an UMVIM, SEJ International Project, and 1 week of debriefing in the  UMVIM,SEJ Birmingham, AL office.  The student will experience various aspects of mission and ministry, spend time with mentors, see justice at work, and dive into the discernment of their calling.  This is a holistic mission and ministry experience in one summer.
 
Go and Serve: A Young Adult Team Leader Training:
October 5-6, 2012
UMVIM, SEJ staff hosted the first training weekend of its kind directly targeted to Young Adults and Adults who work with College and Youth Ministries.  Participants served in a half-day service project with Urban Ministry, received training to be equipped to lead a team, heard from peers who have served, are currently serving, or are preparing to serve in the mission field, and shared in a worship experience led by young adults.  Participants also heard of all opportunities and were given the resources to serve.
